Donna's List: Lip Balms

The weather has been changeable in Florida over the last few weeks which has confused my skin and my lips have been really dry! Plus the air-con doesn't help. So I asked you on my Instagram which lip balms that you love, and you inundated me with these suggestions (and I added my own too)!

Lip balms are great for softening lips but you have to make sure that you remove the dry skin first with a gentle scrub - you can even use an old (clean) toothbrush to gently remove flakes. But if you prefer using a product, I recommend Dr Paw Paw Lip Scrub which is in the list below.

You can shop for all of these on my Like To Know It Shop

Dr Paw Paw Lip Scrub & Lip Balm Duo

Lip Scrub is not exactly a necessity but this is great if your lips chap regularly and are looking for a budget one

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

A bit expensive but lasts ages and is ultra nourishing. It can be used in the day too even though it says otherwise.

Dr Paw Paw Overnight Lip Mask

A great budget buy. I love all of Dr Paw Paw products.

Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lip Therapy

Can't really go wrong with Vaseline and this one smells divine!

Sunbum Screen Lip Balm SPF30

The skin on the lips is very sensitive so SPF is vital especially when you know you are going to be exposed to the sun.

O'Keefe's Lip Repair

This was recommended by a follower and even though I haven't tried it I know it will be great as their hand cream is amazing!

Burt's Bees Lip Balms

These were recommended by my followers multiple times and I love them too. They also do great tinted balms if you want a slick of colour.

Chapstick

Say no more: it's a classic!

Weleda Skin Food Lip Butter

I love all of the Skin Food range so I know you won't go wrong with this!

Nuxe Very Rose Lip Balm

The Reve De Miel is gorgeous too but this Rose one is my fav!

Algenist Liquid Collagen Lip

I'll be honest, I have never tried this brand before but one of my followers swears by this product. A tad on the expensive side but the reviews are good.

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream

You will never go wrong with this! A classic and can be used anywhere on the face, body and hands where you need nourishment.

Summer Fridays Lip Balm

Another one I haven't tried yet, but my followers seem to love this range and I am excited to try it too. I love a balm with a tint!

La Roche Posay Cicaplast

Great if you have sensitive skin and your lips are extra dry!

Malin + Goetz Mojito Lip Balm

I love this! It's quite rich so a little goes a long way.

Minnie Mouse by Lip Smacker

Not sure if they sell Lip Smacker outside the US? I love this purely for its cuteness!
